The gite is entirely independent but attached to our house via
the covered terrace; the two stone houses are in about 4500 m2 of garden and
orchard, with stunning scenery all around
The front door opens into a double-glazed porch. The bedroom has twin beds, a dressing table
and a range of built in cupboards; the window looks towards the mountains in
the east. Through a glazed door is
the living area that has a TV and Hi-fi system, books, games and more
cupboard space. The dining area and
kitchen are adjacent to the living area.
The kitchen opens onto the covered terrace through a double-glazed
door. The covered terrace (12m2)
gives good views to the east and west.
The bathroom opens off the bedroom.
The kitchen and the bathroom are fitted with a ventilation system that
extracts air to the outside. The gite
is heated electrically and there is a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The floors are tiled throughout.
The floor area of the gite is approximately 40m2 plus
the covered terrace.
At the southern end of the level below the gite, there is a
laundry room consisting of a washer and a tumble drier which is shared with
the household. There is a clothesline
on the covered terrace and outside
Available to you outside, is:

A private area set aside
for the gite in the orchard, with an outdoor table and seating available

and pitch for playing petanque, this pitch
will also be used by the household and local friends.

A grassed area immediately
outside the gite with a barbeque & outdoor table, and umbrella
·
Garden chairs and a
sun-lounger that can be used in any of the areas described.
·
Car parking off the road,
close to the gite.
(Petanque is a version of the classic French game of boules that
is played in this area)
