We created the gite in the original farm house, to which our house was added in the 1950’s. We have spent many of our holidays over the years in gites in France, so have designed and equipped it as we would like to find a gite. The two buildings are independent and we offer you the opportunity to use the laundry facilities and space for storing empty luggage and bicycles etc in our cellar which is below the gite. There is a workroom above the gite that we rarely use when the gite is occupied. You will find a plan and photos of the interior of the gite by clicking the photo to the right. Our two houses are set in 4500 m² of peaceful gardens with fantastic views south down the valley from a height of 2800 ft above sea level. We grow many vegetables and fruits, which we are happy that you pick, after talking to us! There are more pictures of our garden and the views from it – the garden changes each year as we do more work and of course with the season.
The countryside around the gite is very beautiful with: · Small, perched villages · Walking, mountain biking and winter sports There is a thermal spa about a mile further up the road that leads to the gite.
