looks to the west taking in the Cirque de Ferrison with its highest peak at
about 2500m On regard

The view down the valley changes
constantly with the light, this is an autumn view taken from the boules pitch
at the top of the garden. La lumière
dans la vallée change constamment donc le vue change. Ce vue vers le sud, sur
la vallée de la Vésubie, était pris de notre terrain de boules. |

This is the view
looking east across the garden, from our gate to the 2500 metre high mountain
in the background, with the gite on the right. Vue vers l’est de notre portail, avec le gîte à droit
et une montagne à 2500m d’hauteur derrière. |

The area of the garden
that has the picnic table, umbrella and garden chairs just outside the front
door of the gite. The door is open
just in the shade of the lime tree. La partie du jardin le plus proche du gite, ou il y a
une table pour manger, un parasol et des chaises du jardin. La porte du gite est ouverte dans l’ombre
du tilleul. |

The photo shows
the bench and sun umbrella on the grassed area just above the gite. The path descends in an arc of stone steps
from where we park to the gîte’s front door and then down to our front
door. Our house is below the gite. On peut voir la table et parasol dans le
jardin. L’allée, en pierres avec
quelques marches, descend du parking jusqu’au gîte et continue a notre porte
d’entrée. Notre maison est au-dessous
du gîte. |

This photo shows the
relationship between the gite and our house, looking southwest. The gite is on the ground floor of the
upper building, the original farm house, and our house is below, the two
building are connected by the covered terrace which is used by the gite guests. Cette
photo montre comment se trouvent nos deux maisons, ici on regarde vers le sud
et l’ouest. Le gîte se situe au rez de
chaussée du bâtiment original, notre maison est plus en bas. Et les deux sont
liées par une terrasse couverte qui est à l’usage personnel de nos hôtes. |

The bedroom window is the lower of the two. Le gite vu
de la terrasse la plus élevée ou on trouve le terrain de boules. La fenêtre de la chambre est visible au
niveau du jardin. |
